DESCRIPTION:The United Nations will host three Conference of the Parties meetings this year: UNCCD on land\, UNFCCC on climate\, and CBD on biodiversity. SUMMARY:Rutgers Climate Week: Subnational Approaches to Biodiversity\, Climate Action\, and Environmental Justice
DESCRIPTION:  \nWhile climate and conservation goals are often framed at national or global scales\, their success depends on how they are pursued at subnational levels. Drawing on diverse expertise across U.S.-based and China-based organizations\, this panel discusses subnational approaches to biodiversity conservation\, climate action\, and environmental justice. \nSpeakers include representatives from the American Museum of Natural History Center for Biodiversity Conservation in New York City\, the U.S. National Park Service in California\, The Nature Conservancy in Beijing\, and Green Camel Bell in Gansu.
