Caribbean Seaweed Research Symposium

Join us for an upcoming symposium showcasing advances in research at the intersection of seaweed science, climate resilience and marine resources management in the Caribbean. Presenters from the US and the Caribbean will explore seaweed’s potential role in the bioeconomy, including innovations in biofuel production, feedstocks, carbon sequestration, sustainable seaweed cultivation and the geospatial monitoring of sargassum hot spots.

The symposium aims to bring together researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders to foster collaboration and explore regional solutions to seaweed-related challenges.
