Congratulations to RCEI affiliate Pamela McElwee for her contributions in editing the “The Routledge Handbook of Cultural Ecosystem Services”. This book discusses the impact and role of these Cultural Ecosystem Services (CES), “the nonmaterial aspects of benefits that people derive from nature”, in the relationship between humans and the environment across the world, in a multitude of contexts and biomes. For those new to CES, experienced in the field, or interested in incorporating it into their work, the book serves as a comprehensive guide enhanced by the rich experiences of its diverse authors and artists.
