Graduate Level Course: Special Topics in Ecology & Evolution (11:216:600:02) - “Monitoring and Modeling Processes in Terrestrial Ecosystems”

Planning Studio: Managing the Urban Heat Island Effect in Philadelphia. Learn about extreme heat, urban heat island effect and how to manage these challenges in large urban areas like Philadelphia. Gain experience working directly with local government on how to communicate with residents about climate risks.

Spring 2025 Courses in Communicating Climate Change.

- Graduate Course: Communicating Science with Decision-makers. This course will help you develop skills in communicating science and technical subjects, focused on communicating in the context of “decision-making”.

- Undergraduate & Graduate Course: Communicating Climate Change. Expand your understanding of climate science and climate change, while developing science communication skills to advance the public’s climate literacy.

NIH Grant Writing Mini-Course. This mini-course is intended for senior postdocs and faculty researchers who are novice to writing NIH K and R grant applications. Enrollment closes January 12, 2025.
