Rutgers Climate Symposium
Climate Symposium 2025
The Blue Planet
Rutgers University has been hosting an annual climate symposium since 2006. Recognizing that climate change touches upon every facet of society, our symposia emphasize the importance of bringing together scholars across a breadth of disciplines to educate, share, inspire, and foster collaborations. With a goal to spur transdisciplinary connections, collaboration, and innovation within our region, Rutgers Climate Symposium’s intended participants are researchers, faculty, staff, and students from institutions throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Speakers include leading scholars and innovators whose work touches upon the four Rutgers Climate and Energy Institute focus areas:
- Earth Systems Science;
- Human Dimensions of Climate Mitigation, Adaptation and Resilience;
- Renewable Energy, Technology and Energy Conservation; and
- Communications and Environmental Humanities.
