Congratulations to RCEI Affiliate Lily Young, who was inducted into the National Academy of Engineering on October 1, 2023. Young, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, was recognized for her pioneering work on the mechanisms of anaerobic microbial metabolism enabling remediation of organic and metal contaminants in the environment.
