Rutgers Climate Symposium 2022

In November 2022, researchers, faculty, and student scholars from academic and research institutions across our region came together for Rutgers annual Climate Symposium which is designed foster collaboration among the climate change research community in our region. The 2022 theme, Climate Change and Biodiversity, was featured during the morning keynote by Patrick Gonzalez (University of California, Berkeley) and continued through a plenary panel that included: Toni Lyn Morelli (U.S. Geological Survey), Kate Orff (Columbia University), Jennifer Powers (University of Minnesota), and Kevin St. Martin (Rutgers University). An afternoon poster session provided opportunities for sharing scholarly work on climate change underway by researchers in the New Jersey-New York-Philadelphia region.

The Symposium included presentations from:
